• Rojak

    Rojak is dish that contains fried dough fritters, bean curds, boiled potatoes, prawn fritters, hard boiled eggs, bean sprouts, water chestnuts and cucumber mixed with a sweet thick, spicy peanut sauce. A delicious rojak depends on the sauce which is the crucial component for this dish.

  • Oyster Sauce Chicken

    There is a restaurant in town known as Restaurant Toh Kheng located next to a primary school which has its own signature dish. It is famous for its oyster sauce chicken. The sauce was specially made with secret ingredients. Their all-time famous dish is the steamed fresh water prawns which you shouldn’t miss out.

  • Cendol

    Cendol is a shaved ice dessert which has the basic ingredients of fresh coconut milk, rich brown sugar syrup, red beans and chewy pandan flavoured cendol that resembles small worms. It is sweet and is a must have dessert to cool down our body with Malaysia’s sunny weather.

  • Siew Pau

    Siew Pau is a crispy and flaky butter pastry bun filled with savoury and sweet roast pork (char siew). It is pleated just like a steamed pau (steamed bun) except it is baked in the oven. The filling usually consisted of BBQ pork and green peas, and it tastes savory and yet a little sweet.
